I Bought and Love This 2020 Hyundai Veloster N
Jun 13, 2021
For those who know me, know that I wanted a Veloster N since they came out. They especially know I made a promise to them that It would be my next car. After taking some time to find the right one. I landed across this one which was located in College Park, Maryland. The dealership managed to give me a good trade in value for my 2013 Honda Fit Sport. I especially wanted this Veloster N because it was Certified Pre Owned. Meaning, it includes Hyundai’s awesome manufacture warranty. 100k miles or 10 years of powertrain warranty. And 100k miles of roadside assistance. With all of this, I decided to pull the trigger and make it happen. From the beginning I finally realized I’ve been missing out on driving fast cars. Yes, this is the first car I own that goes above 200hp. This Veloster N has the performance package so it comes with the additional 25hp. Pushing it to 275hp. For a hatchback, that’s pretty quick. Talking about the performance package, choosing the different drive modes is something that is definitely a bang for its buck. I’m able adjust performance setting and even chassis settings. Of course, the Veloster’s suspension is stiff af, so being able to put everything on sport and sport+ but the suspension on ‘normal’ is a game changer and a true gift.
Going into looks, my favorite part of the N is definitely the rear. It looks so good and makes thicc girls look like me in high school. The wing is a game changer. The 19” alloy wheels look amazing and weigh almost nothing allowing for optimal speed. Something about this car is just too much for me to describe. It finally feels good to have a true ‘track car’ that can actually keep up with the big dogs. Flooring it just feels like I’m entering hyperspace. I never got this feeling in either my Mini Cooper S or Honda Fit (definitely not the Fit lol). Some people say the Civic Type R is the ultimate hot hatch, but I truly believe that the Veloster N on its own is a true monster.
